It explains how we comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the DPA (Data Protection Act) and the PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).

This policy will explain how we process, collect, manage and store your details and how your rights under the GDPR, DPA & PECR are adhered to.


We operate an email newsletter program which we use to inform subscribers about shop news and events. Users can subscribe through an online automated process where they have given their explicit permission. Subscriber personal details are collected, processed, managed and stored in accordance with the regulations named above. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time through an automated online service.  (The type and content of messages subscribers receive is clearly outlined at the point of subscription.)

Email marketing messages may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of subscriber data relating to engagement (links clicked), geographic, demographics and already stored subscriber data.

Our email newsletter provider is Mailchimp and you can read their privacy policy in their legal section.

Customer Orders

When placing a customer order for a product, we will collect some customer information including name and email address which will only be used to contact the customer with updates on the status of their order. This information is stored securely for use with subsequent orders, and a history of products ordered by each customer will be retained. This order history is not shared with any third parties, and customers can request access to the contact details and order history we hold for them at any time, as well as requesting the erasure of all information held if required.

We use Google Analytics to better understand how visitors use our website and to do this our site places cookies (small text files) on devices that are used to access it. Cookies will anonymously record information such as a visitor’s location, age group, and gender, as well as the type of device used, which pages were viewed and for how long, inbound referrals (how a visitor reached our website), and links clicked.
